Victim dies Sunday after a Tennessee auto accident on Saturday

The Jackson Sun reported that a man died Sunday after a Tennessee auto accident that happened on Saturday.

The man lost control while driving along a curve and hit a guard rail, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The Tennessee car accident victim was transported to a Memphis hospital to be treated for his injuries but passed away on Sunday.

Authorities are not sure whether or not the car accident victim was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Mississippi auto accident leaves police officer injured

The Jackson Sun reported that a police officer was injured in a three-car Mississippi car accident Thursday night. 

The officer was responding to a disturbance call when a vehicle pulled out in front of him, causing him to swerve and hit both that vehicle and another car in the Mississippi auto accident. 

No one else suffered car accident injuries.

Death of one-year-old being investigated as a Memphis wrongful death case

January 18, 2008 

Police are investigating the death of a one-year-old girl as a possible wrongful death in Memphis, according to The Commercial Appeal. 

About 5 p.m., the little girl was admitted to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis with a brain injury then was transported to another hospital for treatment, where she passed away. 

The head trauma was severe, and although no charges have been filed in the Tennessee wrongful death, police are questioning her parents and calling her death suspicious.

Man who caused fatal Memphis auto accident involving his ex-girlfriend charged with murder

January 22, 2008

The Commercial Appeal reported that officials have determined that a fatal Memphis auto accident was first-degree murder. The hit-and-run accident happened at 7:15 a.m. Thursday when a driver slammed into the back of another vehicle, crashing it into a pole which caused it to rollover.

The driver who was rear-ended died at the scene of the Tennessee car accident. The car belonging to the driver who caused the accident was found abandoned near the scene. The man who caused the accident was the ex-boyfriend of the Memphis auto accident victim and had a history of stalking and driving under the influence.

Tractor trailers takes off trooper’s door in Tennessee auto accident

The Jackson Sun reported that a trooper lost a car door in a Tennessee auto accident Saturday evening, which was caught on tape by the video camera in the trooper’s car. 

A tractor trailer ripped off the door after the trooper returned to the car. He had been helping a driver that was stopped on the interstate. 

There were no Tennessee car accident injuries, but investigators are searching for the tractor trailer who caused the accident.

Two injured in Tennessee auto accident with day care bus

January 11, 2008

A day care bus carrying a 6-year-old boy and two adult women was knocked on its side in a two-car Tennessee auto accident Thursday, according to The Commercial Appeal.

The driver of a pickup truck smashed into the day care bus after running a stop sign because of a slick road. The owner of the day care said all three Tennessee auto accident victims were wearing seatbelts.

The young boy was picked up at the scene by family members while the adults were taken to a hospital to be treated for their car accident injuries.
