Officer cited after Memphis auto accident

A local police officer was cited after a Memphis car accident that damaged his patrol car, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
The officer was driving down the road in his squad car when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a nearby curb. The Memphis auto accident caused the car to catch on fire.
The officer suffered some non-critical injuries in the Tennessee car accident and was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
