According to the Memphis Democrat, an 87-year-old woman drove her car into the hardware store’s front window, causing a Memphis auto accident that injured the driver.

The Memphis auto accident occurred when the driver hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, sending the car onto the sidewalk and into the storefront.

Memphis drunk driving accident leads to neighborhood damage

Highway 78 claims two lives in Tupelo auto accidents

Two teens die in Memphis auto accident

Woman dies in Memphis auto accident

Unfortunately, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, a 47-year-old driver of a Ford Explorer struck another woman, 54, as she was driving near South Third and Horn Lake, causing a Memphis auto accident.

The 54-year-old woman died as a result of her Memphis auto accident injuries.

Police have not yet filed Memphis auto accident charges as they continue to investigate.

Memphis drunk driving accident involves drunk minor

Unfortunately, intoxicated drivers are a common risk on the road. What is less common, though, is an intoxicated driver who has an intoxicated minor in the car as well.

According to WMC-TV, a Memphis drunk driving accident was likely to occur when a trooper who had stopped to help a broken-down truck noticed another vehicle was swerving and left to pursue it.

The car swerved down South Highway 51 and the trooper feared the swerving vehicle would cause a Memphis drunk driving accident. When the trooper pulled the vehicle over, the driver gave the officer her bank card instead of her driver’s license.  The officer then discovered an intoxicated 14-year-old, a passenger in the vehicle which could have been involved in a Memphis drunk driving accident.

The woman had been charged with driving under the influence in 2002.
