Deputy injured in Mississippi auto accident

A recent Mississippi car accident left a local deputy with some injuries, according to The Daily Leader.
He was responding to a call about another vehicle driving down the wrong side of the interstate.
There was a stalled vehicle on the side of the interstate with no emergency lights on, and the deputy swerved to miss it, causing him to lose control of his car.
His car left the road, hit a road sign, and went down an embankment.
He was taken from the scene of the Mississippi auto accident to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
