April 14, 2010

Too often innocent children are the victims of adults’ costly errors in judgment. That is what occurred Friday in a Memphis drunk driving accident that involved a grandmother and her grandchildren.

WREG reports the Memphis drunk driving accident occurred when a Memphis grandmother who had been drinking crashed the vehicle carrying her three grandchildren in the backseat.

The Memphis drunk driving accident happened at Raines and Millbranch and when police arrived on the scene, they said she smelled of alcohol, had urinated on her clothing, and appeared to sway as she stood.

Police found a cup that had contained alcohol and an open container of alcohol.

The children were not restrained in the backseat during the Memphis drunk driving accident.
