Grant to help police curb Tennessee drunk driving accidents

The Commercial Appeal reported that police have received a grant to improve enforcement of drunk driving laws and coordinating DUI enforcement efforts in Northwest Mississippi as well through September 2008.
These efforts are aimed at reducing the amount of Tennessee drunk driving accidents and raising the awareness of DUI injuries. A spokesperson with the police force said he believed the majority of Tennessee drunk driving offenders haven’t been caught, but hopes the grant will help remedy that situation.
