Firefighter’s work injury could mean Memphis workers’ compensation

Firefighting is a dangerous job, but someone has to do it. A Memphis firefighter got up close and personal with that danger when he was injured while battling a Memphis church fire, according to WMC TV.

The fire occurred at Glory International Church, and firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in about an hour; however, one firefighter suffered a work-related injury and had to be taken to a hospital.

Smoke inhalation and high blood pressure sent the 45-year-old firefighter to the hospital and could lead to Memphis workers’ compensation.

The work-related injury victim’s injuries were not life-threatening but Memphis workers’ compensation could still help with his loss.
