Firefighters may have Memphis workers’ compensation case after dog attack

Firefighters may have one of the most dangerous jobs. However, fire is not always the threat they face. According to Fox 16, two firefighters faced danger today because of a dog.

A Memphis worker’s compensation case may be in the works after two firefighters were injured on the job during a rescue mission.

The firefighters were on the scene of a pit bull attack in downtown Memphis where an elderly man and his daughter were attacked. The man died as a result of the attack and his daughter was injured.

However, firefighters involved in attending to the victims were also attacked by the dog, which could lead to Memphis workers’ compensation cases. The firefighters were not in critical condition.
