When someone chooses to drive in a reckless manner then they are making a choice. A very bad choice with very bad results and outcomes. They are choosing to put each one of our loved ones at risk for their own amusement or time schedule.  They are highly likely to commit a crime. We all know families that have been impacted by the selfish reckless and even criminal acts of these drivers on the road.  They must be held accountable for the damages they inflict on people and because their actions are deliberate, they can be assessed exemplary damages, usually called punitive damages.

Does this mean that the adjuster will be fair and will be willing to acknowledge the bad acts of their insureds? Or to pay just and reasonable damages? Of course not. That’s why you need an attorney who understands the importance of gathering and preserving evidence of all the bad acts and making the insurance company do the right thing. Someone who isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with that adjuster or with that defense lawyer in court to get justice and the money you deserve. Do you need a proven fighter by your side. You know who to call. Pick up that phone and call me now 888-WE FIGHT.

While there are many many examples of what qualifies as reckless driving here is a list of just a few of the examples of cases we have handled involving reckless driving collisions.

Drag Racing. Truly a scourge on our community, these dangerous drivers put lives at risk in high-powered high-speed cars and trucks on public roads. We see more and more of this behavior and the best way to fight this behavior is to hold the guilty fully accountable and make them an example. When others see this, it will deter that reckless behavior

Driving 25 mph over the speed limit.  Excessive speed is never warranted by someone on public roads. These dangerous drivers are putting their wants and wishes over the safety of our loved ones and must be held fully accountable for their actions

Driving while distracted.  We see this more than any other type of reckless driving behavior. People texting or watching videos while they drive. These dangerous drivers needlessly risk serious harm to those around them and must be held fully accountable for their actions

Driving drunk or high or otherwise impaired. The worst choice a driver can make is to get behind the wheel in this condition. Again, they are putting their own wants and wishes over the safety of those that we love. Not only is this reckless its also criminal and the best way to fight this behavior is to hold them fully accountable for their actions and make an example out of them.

Passing a vehicle against the yellow line or with poor visibility. These dangerous drivers would rather risk your life than be stuck behind a vehicle they think is going too slow. They are choosing their own wants and wishes over our loved ones that are coming in the opposite direction at full speed. Since they are accelerating while passing the collisions here are horrific and result in severe and debilitating injuries.

Driving on the shoulder or other illegal or dangerous maneuvers. These dangerous drivers are telling the world that their wants and wishes are more important than the safety of those that we love. We must hold them accountable for their actions and make an example out of them.

Even with these examples of outrageous behavior adjusters will refuse to acknowledge the heightened liability of their insureds and will still pull their old tricks out of their hat. They will attack you and say you’re not injured. They will delay speaking to you about the collision. Then they will deny the claim for bogus and spurious reasons. Then they will defend it in court with every flimsy defense they can think of.

IF this describes what is going on with you then you need someone on your side who knows their tactics and how to defeat them. Someone who isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with those adjusters or defense lawyers and fight them tooth and nail We are proud to proclaim that WE THROW THE FIRST PUNCH!
